Whether in the school classroom or on Sunday mornings, our students learn about Jesus, His Church, and how to follow Him to one day be saints! We have different programs to fit the needs of our parish community.
Preschool
With an increased focus on prayer, God Made the World encourages four-year-olds to go beyond learning about Catholic faith, Tradition, culture, and identity and to actively engage with it. With inspiring visuals and engaging activities, God Made the World utilizes a cross-curricular approach to make lessons rich and engaging as children prepare for kindergarten.
God Made the World uses an active learning approach that meets the developmental needs of four-year-olds using a Centering, Sharing, Acting instructional model to involve the whole child: heart and mind, body and soul.
The Word of Life program makes learning the faith effective, engaging, and fun with Bible stories, contemporary children’s stories, lives of the saints, and activities for a variety of learning styles.
Each lesson consists of core lessons, as well as four liturgical season lessons. Images used in each chapter range from photographs depicting a real-life situation, contemporary art depicting a Bible narrative, and sacred art that depicts an event in salvation history to draw students into the mysteries of Christ, leading them to understand doctrinal elements of the faith more fully.
Every chapter has a page for parents that provides a brief summary of what the child learned in class and a variety of ways to live the faith in daily life.
They learn:
Salvation history: They know their place in God’s divine plan.
Christian anthropology: They find their true identity in Christ.
Heroic virtue: They build good habits with the help of God’s grace.
Discipleship: They understand why being Catholic really matters
With world-class animation, workbooks that are works of art, and catechist-friendly leader guides, Dynamic Catholic's Blessed First Communion and First Reconciliation preparation meets children where they are and leads them, step-by-step, to where God is calling them to be.
This program teaches students about being the “best versions of ourselves”. God wants the best for us and has given us an incredible gift in the sacraments. God desires us to be part of His family, the Church. Reconciliation helps us return to God when we’ve chosen a wrong path. In the Eucharist, Jesus gives us Himself and remains with us.
Chosen is an award-winning program used by thousands of parishes to present the Catholic Faith to over 850,000 teens (and counting). This program helps students prepare for Confirmation in a way that keeps their attention and helps them appreciate the power and gifts of this sacrament. The engaging content, flexible video-based lessons, and practical implementation tools allow busy teachers and facilitators to spend less time on planning and logistics and more time meaningfully connecting with students. Resources empower parents to help their children build a strong faith foundation.
For students who need to receive Baptism or did not receive First Communion in 2nd grade, we offer a two year sacramental preparation course.
Journey of Faith speaks clearly to people where they are in their faith journey with specific materials for specific audiences in their voice—adults, teens, and children. Students receive an overview of what it means to be Catholic as they prepare to receive their sacraments.
